Boston Red Sox Star J.D. Martinez was blasted by the Leftist media earlier this week for a pro-gun post from 5 years ago on Instagram. The Leftist mob was demanding Martinez apologize for posting a pro-gun stance, however Martinez did not back down. Martinez explained that he is pro-gun because his family had to flee the Socialist Dictator Fidel Castro in Cuba.

“As most of you guys know I’m Cuban-American, and most of my family was run out of Cuba because of a brutal dictator,” Martinez told a swarm of reporters on Tuesday. “It’s terrible. It’s one of those things where I’ll never get to meet some of my family because of it.”

“I love my country. I stand by the Constitution and I stand by the Second Amendment,” he continued. “It’s something I take pride in and it’s something I’ll back up.”

“Everybody has a right to stand by what they believe in and that’s what makes us American,” added Martinez, according to The New York Daily News. “We’re not all going to believe in the same things, but that’s what makes this country so great.”

The post that triggered the Leftist media mob was a picture of Adolf Hitler quote “To conquer a nation, first disarm its citizens.”

It is notable the Hitler quote cited cannot be confirmed, but it is probable derived from another Hitler quote.

“The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to allow the subjugated races to possess arms. History shows that all conquerors who have allowed their subjugated races to carry arms have prepared their own downfall by so doing.” — Hitler’s Table Talk, 1941-1944: Secret Conversations

The Leftist mob shows how insensitive they are for targeting a man who’s family fled Cuba understanding the evils of what Democrats are proposing today.
