Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein was reported to be turning in his resignation or being fired today, but neither happened. Rosenstein was supposed to meet with President Trump on Monday but Trump had a meeting with the United Nations in New York.
The Meeting was to clear the air over the New York Times report where they claimed Rosenstein was trying to secretly record President Trump. The meeting was rescheduled for Thursday.
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement, posted to Twitter Monday afternoon.

It is unclear if Rosenstein will be fired or turn in his resignation. It is possible there was a false story released by a source to stir up drama within the white House .
