BuzzFeed NEWS (FAKE NEWS) ran a bogus false story that Micheal Cohen told Mueller’s team that Trump directed him to lie about connections with Russia. The main stream media ran with this story for 24 hours thinking this was the smoking gun to impeach Trump. But that fantasy came to an end quickly with Robert Mueller replying to BuzzFeed claiming this is a false story.
On Thursday BuzzFeed reported, “Now the two sources have told BuzzFeed News that Cohen also told the special counsel that after the election, the president personally instructed him to lie — by claiming that negotiations ended months earlier than they actually did — in order to obscure Trump’s involvement.”
Spokesperson for special counsel Robert Mueller’s office wrote a letter criticizing Buzzfeed’s false report.
BuzzFeed’s description of specific statements to the Special Counsel’s Office, and characterization of documents and testimony obtained by this office, regarding Michael Cohen’s Congressional testimony are not accurate.

Preserve Conservative Values did not report on the initial report from BuzzFeed News because the story did not seem credible, which turned out to be true. There are roughly 3 stories a week that are reported by (FAKE NEWS) organizations a week that turn up to be false every time, which is why caution in reporting those stories are taken by Preserve Conservative Values.
