The gift that never ceases to stop giving for satire Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez gets in a hilarious feud with a Washington Post fact-checker. Ocasio-Cortez apparently is having issues with the fact her insane lies are getting called out by left leaning sources like the Washington Post. Ocasio-Cortez believes these fact checkers are to focused on if she is speaking the truth rather than of what she says is moral.

Ocasio-Cortez was contacted by the Washington Post about inaccuracy in her statement about many Americans do not have a livable wage. This sent the radical Socialist in a tirade insulting the Post, issuing an apology for being wrong, then declaring victory by citing a non-credible openly Socialist magazine.

The statement Ocasio-Cortez made that is under question and found false was,

“Ocasio-Cortez: I think it’s wrong that a vast majority of the country doesn’t make a living wage, I think it’s wrong that you can work 100 hours and not feed your kids. I think it’s wrong that corporations like Walmart and Amazon can get paid by the government, essentially experience a wealth transfer from the public, for paying people less than a minimum wage.”

Ocasio-Cortez started off saying on Twitter,

“Me: “I don’t think billionaires should concentrate wealth while employing people who are sleeping in cars working a zillion hours to survive.””

“Next day: “That will be TEN PINOCCHIOS to Ocasio, ‘zillion’ is not a number and I found someone who sleeps in a tent, not a car.””

Washington Post Glenn Kessler responded back to Ocasio-Cortez crediting the individual who proved OCasio-Cortez wrong in her statement, “Check the name of the author: Jason Furman, chairman of Council of Economic Advisers under Obama. He’s someone I have known for 20+ years and he is simply citing some basic economics. I included the link only because his discussion of the economics was detailed and thorough.”

After being proven wrong Ocasio-Cortez issued an apology to insulting economist Jason Furman, but still couldn’t hold herself back from doubling down on her statement.

Yet, Ocasio-Cortez declares herself victory and attempts to justify herself with an openly Socialist magazine to prove she is right.
