The Senate Intelligence Committee is finishing up its two year long investigation into Trump Russia collusion, and both Republicans and Democrats agree they found nothing to claim Trump colluded with the Russians in 2016.
According to the Daily Caller, “Anonymous Democratic Senate investigators conceded that they are not going to be able to find evidence of direct collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian President Vladimir Putin, the NBC report claims.”
Republican Senator Richard Burr stated in an interview with CBS last week, “If we write a report based upon the facts that we have, then we don’t have anything that would suggest there was collusion by the Trump campaign and Russia.”
Burr continued to claim the investigation was nearing an end, “We know we’re getting to the bottom of the barrel because there’re not new questions that we’re searching for answers to,” Burr said. “What I’m telling you is that I’m going to present, as best we can, the facts to you and to the American people. And you’ll have to draw your own conclusion as to whether you think that, by whatever definition, that’s collusion.”
