The Robert Mueller probe of President Donald Trump could wrap up as soon as next week according to CNN report.
CNN reported, “Attorney General Bill Barr is preparing to announce as early as next week the completion of Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation, with plans for Barr to submit to Congress soon after a summary of Mueller’s confidential report, according to people familiar with the plans.”
There has been high speculation of the investigation wrapping up soon for the last month in particular after the Roger Stone arrest. Mueller was predicted to have turned in his report in mid-February, but it is likely delayed to to the long confirmation vote of Attorney General William Barr.
The Daily Caller reported, “Attorney General William Barr is preparing to receive a report from special counsel Robert Mueller, who took over an FBI investigation of the Trump campaign on May 17, 2017.”
Last week news broke that both Democrats and Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee did not find any criminal activity of the Trump campaign and Collusion with Russia. This means the Mueller probe will likely come back as a massive dud for the Democrat party.
