Ilhan Omar ran with a conspiracy theory on Sunday claiming President Trump is lying about the crises in Venezuela and can’t be trusted.
Omar tweeted, “Trump and Elliott Abrams cannot be trusted to tell the truth about what’s happening in Venezuela.”
Omar continued, “We must continue to question the narratives they provide and promote dialogue instead of intervention.”

Ilhan Omar attempts to discredit Trump and the Republicans that we are lying about what is going on in Venezuela by citing the New York Times. This is laughable considering their history of covering up for the most notorious Socialist regimes.
The largest lie from the New York Times was when reporter Walter Duranty claimed that the Soviet Union was not starving the Ukrainian people. Durnaty went to the Ukraine during the Red feminine used against them, but he reported that things were going great in the country. Durnty covered for the Communist regime because he and the New York Times were attempting to push Communist propaganda.
