Creepy porn lawyer Michael Avenatti gave an interview with CBS News correspondent Jericka Duncan on Tuesday over his recent charges. Avenatti claimed in the interview that “I am nervous. I am concerned. I’m scared” of the possibility of facing the rest of his life behind bars.
Avenatti was charged in New York for attempting to extort $25 million from Nike, which he is facing up to 50 years of prison time for. Avenatti was also charged in California for bank embezzlement of $1.6 million, which he is facing up to 47 years in prison for that crime.
Avenatti stated, “I am nervous. I am concerned. I’m scared. I feel terrible for my family. I feel bad for my friends. Most people are sticking by me. They believe in me. They know what I am all about. So, I’ve been very fortunate in that regard. But sure, I am nervous. I’m scared. I’m all those things and if I wasn’t, it wouldn’t make a lot sense.”
