Ohio has become the seventh state to ban abortions if the unborn child has a heartbeat. The S.B. 23 bill was signed by the newly elected great Governor Mike DeWine. Unlike the former disgraced Ohio Governor John Kasich DeWine has championed protecting God’s greatest gifts in children.
Republican Governor Mike DeWine stated, “The signing of this bill today is consistent with that respect for life and the imperative to protect those who cannot protect themselves.”

"The government's role should be to protect life from the beginning to the end," DeWine said.

The pathetic ACLU decided they will challenge this new bill in court.
Fred Levenson legal director of the ACLU stated, “This legislation is blatantly unconstitutional, and we will fight to the bitter end to ensure that this bill is permanently blocked. S.B. 23 is one of the most aggressive, oppressive, and radical attacks against women ever seen in this state and this country.”
However, the ACLU could be helping out the pro-life movement unintentionally by suing the bill. as noted by Conservative reporter that could bring the bill to the Supreme Court that would change the landscape in a positive for the pro-life movement.
.@JamiesonLG: ACLU came out today and said that they will sue #Ohio on this law and we said, 'Bring it on.' The heartbeat bill is going to be a really good vehicle to bring it to the #SupremeCourt and so we welcome the challenge. @ohiolife https://t.co/6qkKlNjllc
