The Center for Disease Control (CDC) has reported that over 80,000 United States Citizens have died from the Coronavirus disease, but it seems they have been fudging the numbers. According to the Washington Post Dr. Deborah Birx blasted the CDC for their method of collecting data on deaths for the virus. Birx went as far as to say the CDC inflated numbers by 25%, and claiming “‘There is nothing from the CDC that I can trust.”

The Washington Post reported, “During a task force meeting Wednesday, a heated discussion broke out between Deborah Birx, the physician who oversees the administration’s coronavirus response, and Robert Redfield, the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,” The Washington Post reported over the weekend.

The Washington Post noted, “During a task force meeting Wednesday, a heated discussion broke out between Deborah Birx, the physician who oversees the administration’s coronavirus response, and Robert Redfield, the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Birx and others were frustrated with the CDC’s antiquated system for tracking virus data, which they worried was inflating some statistics — such as mortality rate and case count — by as much as 25 percent, according to four people present for the discussion or later briefed on it. Two senior administration officials said the discussion was not heated. ”

The Washington Post added, “‘There is nothing from the CDC that I can trust,’ Birx said, according to two of the people.”

Birx reportedly said, “To keep with this trend, it is essential that seniors and those with comorbidities shelter in place and that we continue to protect vulnerable communities.”

Many Conservatives have been calling out these outrageous death totals and calling into question if the CDC has counted everyone testing positive for the virus that dies. If this report is true from the Washington Post it would seem we are correct that they are counting deaths that shouldn’t count.
